Seit Beginn der 1990-iger Jahre gibt es getrieben durch ein wachsendes Umweltbewusstsein international verstärkte Anstrengungen, das PZT durch bleioxidfreie Alternativen zu ersetzen. Die intensive Suche nach alternativen Werkstoffen auf dem Gebiet der Piezokeramiken spiegelt sich in der gro en Anzahl von Publikationen in den letzten Jahren wider. Als besonders aussichtsreiche Kandidaten stellten sich dabei Zusammensetzungen basierend auf Kalium-Natrium-Niobat (KNN) heraus. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden Untersuchungen zur Herstellung von modifizierten KNN-Keramiken durchgeführt mit dem Ziel, diese Werkstoffe für das IKTS zu er-schlie en. Dabei ging es um die Erarbeitung einer Synthese- und Verarbeitungstechnologie, mit deren Hilfe Keramiken mit reproduzierbaren Eigenschaften herstellbar sind, die dem Stand der Technik entsprechen.
