Wenn dies so ist, dann haben diese beiden groBen Entwicklungen, denen so viele Wissenschaften so viel zu verdanken haben, irgendwo ihre Grenzen; sei es, daB bestimmte Probleme entweder nur heuristisch oder nur analytisch anzugehen sind. Dazu mUssen manche von en sehr weitgehend, oft zu weitgehend vereinfacht werden, damit sie einem analytischen Ansatz zug1inglich sind; dazu mUssen andere Probleme als Fragen so formuliert werden, daB dar auf keine eindeutige Antwort zu geben ist, sondern nur Aussagen in Wenn: Dann -Relationen. Beides ist oft unbefriedigend. In dieser Situation bemiiht man sich urn das Weiterentwickeln der verfUgbaren Methoden in der Weise, daB Synthesen zwischen demheuristischen und dem analytischen Vor- gehen gesucht werden. Eine solche Synthese hat Hermann Krallmann mit der Integration nichtlinearer Optimierungsalgorithmen in ein Modell yom System Dynamics -Typ offenkundig gefun en. Damit ist ein Weg gewiesen, auf dem fortzuschreiten lohnend erscheint, nachdem die erste Station dieses Weges jetzt klar dargestellt und somit fur jeder- mann erreichbar ist. Die geschaffene Methode ist n1imlich so einleuchtend, daB sie ohne MUhe zu verstehen und anzuwenden ist, wozu deren ausfUhrliche Darlegung mit einem Beispiel und die beigegebene Computersoftware erheblich beitragen. Auf diese Weise wird jeder in der Praxis tatige System-und Unternehmensforscher ebenso direkt angesprochen wie jeder Wissenschaftler in den vielen Disziplinen, die heute ohne computergestutztes Denken und Rechnen nicht mehr leistungsfahig sein konnen.
