Da sich der erste Teil mit der Vergangenheit befassen wird, eignen sich Literaturrecherchen und Inhaltsanalysen am besten, um eine Theorie bilden zu können. Der zweite Teil wird ebenfalls literaturbasierte Erkenntnisse liefern, um die aktuellen Hexenverfolgungen in Indien darzustellen. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf aktuelle Online-Zeitungsartikel in Indien gelegt, um die Aktualität der Hexenjagden zu überprüfen. Die Literaturrecherche und die Inhaltsanalyse verschiedener Quellen, wie Präsentationen, Zeitungsartikel und Berichte, dienen der induktiven Beweisführung, um eine Theorie für die Forschungsfrage aufzustellen. Diese aufgestellte Theorie wird, mithilfe der vor recherchierten Ergebnisse in einer qualitativen Forschung, einem Zeitzeugeninterview, überprüft. Das bedeutet, dass diese Arbeit die Forschungsfrage mit Hilfe von induktiven und deduktiven Forschungen beantworten wird.
