D.H. Aire has walked the ramparts of the Old City of Jerusalem and through an escape tunnel of a Crusader fortress that Richard the Lionheart once called home. He's toured archeological sites that were hundreds, if not thousands of years old... experiences that have found expression in his writing of his epic fantasy Highmage's Plight and Hands of the Highmage (companion) Series. Aire's short story Knight of the Broken Table appears in the anthology Dark Luminous Wings (2017); Nowhere to Go But Mars in Alternate Facts (2017). His story Running on Selyn, Alone appears in Fear and Courage, the first Sime Gen anthology, his story You Can't Buy Your Dreams appears in How to Trick the Devil, his story Grounding a Mockingbird appears in the anthology Street Magick (2016). He is the author of: Highmage's Plight, Merchants and Mages, Human Mage, Highmage, Well Armed Brides, Prophecies' Pawn, and Paradox Lost; Dare 2 Believe, Double Dare; and Terran Catalyst, Plymouth Meets Rock (a sequel forthcoming in 2018). He is also the author of a Plight companion series, Hands of the Highmage: For Whom the Bell Trolls, Of Elves and Unicorns, Goldilocks and the Three Dwarves (coming in Late Summer/Fall 2018). A collection of his published short stories, flash fiction, and essays: Crossroads of Sin and Other Stories was published in 2017.
