Shrimant Balwant Row Bhayasaheb Scindia was incharge of Public Works Department of Gwalior State born 1854. His father was Srimant Ganpat Rao. The author was a famous translator of Persian to English. He venture to publish this translation of small Persian Manuscript name “ Gwalior Nama” up to general Pophams time for the benefit of the public.
