Geogr., Geomorphologie, Umweltforschung, Note: 2,35, Universität Augsburg (Geographie), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In einer Zusammenarbeit der Universitäten Innsbruck und Augsburg wurde ein von der DFG gefördertes Projekt ins Leben gerufen welches sich mit den Auswirkungen von Bränden an Gebirgshängen beschäftigt. Im Rahmen dieses Projekts wurden verschiedene Hänge im Karwendelgebirge untersucht, beispielsweise im Hinblick auf die Auswirkungen von Feuerereignissen auf Vegetationssukzessionen und Hangabtragsparameter untersucht, so wie versucht durch Archiv- und Recherchearbeit die Brandgeschichte des Gebiets zu rekonstruieren. Zu diesem Zweck wurde auch das Halslkopfmoor untersucht. Durch eine Pollenanalyse sollte die holozäne Vegetationsgeschichte rekonstruiert, und im Zuge dessen anhand mikroskopischer Holzkohlepartikel auch die holozäne Brandgeschichte näher beleuchtet werden. Neben dem Nutzen für das Projekt ist die Wahl des Halslkopfmoores in zusätzlicher Hinsicht interessant. Obwohl aus den nördlichen Kalkalpen bereits einige palynologische Untersuchungen von Mooren vorliegen (BORTENSCHLAGER 1984, WAHLMÜLLER 1985, OEGGL 1988, WALDE 1999) ist unmittelbar in der Nähe des Untersuchungsgebiets noch keine Pollenanalyse vorgenommen worden. Die vorliegende Arbeit liefert also einen zusätzlichen Punkt im Netzwerk bereits bestehender Arbeiten der hilft die Vegetationsgeschichte des Nordtiroler Alpenraumes genauer rekonstruieren und verstehen zu können. Die relativ abgelegene und hohe Lage des Halslkopfmoores ist zudem interessant bezüglich der Frage wie stark der Mensch durch seine Nutzung auch eher ungünstigere Standpunkte erschlossen hat, sind die anderen Arbeiten doch eher entlang des nutzerisch günstigeren Inntales gelegen. Die Vorliegende Arbeit gibt zunächst eine geographische Beschreibung des Untersuchungsgebietes wieder und erläutert dann die angewandten Methoden bei der Feld
