About The Author

Kiran Yadav obtained her B.A. in Home Science, with Sociology and Hindi from Purvanchal University, Jaunpur; M.A. in Home Science from VPS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur; B.Ed. from VPS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur; and Advanced Diploma in Computer Application from WWEI, Varanasi. She worked as Lecturer at Sant Keenaram P.G. College, Sonbhadra. Presently she is actively involved in professional activities at national and international level. She has been honoured by some social and educational organizations. She has attended many seminars/conferences and contributed papers on Home Science in reputed research journals and newspapers. Om Shashi Shekhar Singh obtained his B.A. with English and Economics from Purvanchal University, Jaunpur; BLIS from MG Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi; MLIS from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi; ADCA from WWEI Varanasi; Office Automation from TSRA Varanasi; and Microsoft PS from Microsoft, India. He has qualified UGC NET and is presently pursuing Ph.D. on IIT Libraries. He worked as Library Assistant at BVAC (NIHRD) Varanasi from July 2002 to Dec 2003. He also worked with NVS New Delhi as a Librarian and is presently at JNV Mewat, Haryana. He is actively engaged in professional activities at national and international level. He has been honoured by social and educational organizations and is a life member of ILA, UPLA, IASLIC, SIS, DLA, KLA and MALA. He has attended many international and national seminars, conferences, workshops, and contributed several research papers that were published in leading research journals and conference proceedings. Three books on LIS are to his credit.
