Martyn G. D. Belbenbegan his insurance career as a Broker in the Underwriting Room at Lloyd's of London in 1954. He became a professional International Loss Adjuster and Marine Surveyor, when he joined Toplis & Harding, London in 1961. He moved on to Graham Miller & Co., London in 1963 and became an overseas partner in 1965. He formed his own firm of international loss adjusters, Martyn Belben & Co. in 1968. He has adjusted Property & Marine claims in over 70 countries, world wide. He became a public insurance adjuster in 2004 with the expansion of the illegal, "Bad Faith," McKInsey claims handling doctrine of Deny, Delay & Defend.
