Ray Geide has been a student of the Bible for over four decades. Much of that time was spent trying to get a grasp on the meaning of the words in the Bible. He graduated from the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO with a ThG and BA. He later took extensive courses in New Testament Greek from the Temple Baptist Theological Seminary in Chattanooga, TN where he received a MDiv in New Testament Studies, Summa Cum Laude. He has pastored four churches, been a Chaplain Candidate in the USAF, and worked in parachurch ministries, churches, and Christian Education. In 1993 he moved his family to the former Soviet Union to become a pioneering missionary there. For nine years he trained Russians in the Bible and started a church in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He is the founder and president of Mission Churches International Inc. and Ellsworth Family Connections Inc. Because of his strong belief that everyone should have the Bible in their own language, Ray Geide started work on a new Bible version in 2008 that only used words that were common and regularly used by ordinary people outside of the church. In 2012 he published the first book of "The Bible for a New Generation" (www.bible4ang.com) titled, "How to be Right - Romans".
