Prof. Dr. Yongguang Cheng is a full professor with School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering of Wuhan University, China, and a senior researcher at State Key Laboratory of Water Resources Engineering and Management. He is the director of Teaching Section of Hydropower Station and the deputy director of Research Institute of Hydropower Station Safety and Control. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in engineering in 1998, a master's degree of engineering in 1995, and a bachelor's degree of engineering in 1992, all at Wuhan Univ. of Hydr. & Elec. Eng., China. As a senior visiting fellow, he visited the department of mathematics, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, USA, and Iowa Institute of Hydraulic Research (IIHR), the University of Iowa, USA. As a postdoctoral researcher, he studied at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics, Karlsruhe University, Germany, and Hohai University, China. He published sixty papers and five patents on these topics.

Prof. Dr. Kai Su is a full professor with School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering of Wuhan University, China, and a senior researcher at State Key Laboratory of Water Resources Engineering and Management. He earned his bachelor's (2000), master's (2003), and Ph.D. (2006) degrees in engineering from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering. He teaches undergraduate courses in Underground Engineering, Hydropower Station, and Modern Numerical Simulation Methods. At the graduate level, he offers courses on Software Foundation of Structural Calculation and Analysis and Principles of Structural Optimization Design for Hydropower Stations. His research interests encompass a broad range of topics, including the safety of lining structure of water diversion project/high-pressure hydraulic tunnel, stability of surrounding rock in large underground caverns, structural safety of water diversion system in pumped storage power stations, and load-bearing characteristics of offshore/onshore wind power support structures.

Associate Prof. Dr. Jinping Li is working with School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering, Wuhan University, China. He obtained his bachelor's degree in engineering from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering in 1997, master's degree in engineering in 2000, and doctoral degree in engineering in 2005. In 2013, he studied at Iowa Institute of Hydraulic Research (IIHR), the University of Iowa, USA. He has been committed to the teaching and research of water resources and hydropower engineering for over 20 years. His research focuses on the transient process and control of hydropower stations, as well as the numerical simulation and model testing of hydraulics in water conveyance systems. The courses he has taught include Hydropower Station, Pumped Storage, Green Energy, Transient Flow, BIM Technology and Application, etc. He has participated in more than 40 scientific research projects and published more than 20 papers.

Associate Professor Dr. Juntao Chen is working with School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering of Wuhan University, China. He received a Ph.D. degree in engineering in 2006 and a B.S. degree in engineering in 2001, all from Wuhan Univ. of Hydr. & Elec. Eng., China. He was a visiting scholar at the department of civil engineering, University of Toronto, from September 2015 to September 2016. As the leader of the BIM & Intelligent Technology course team, he taught Hydropower Station, BIM Technology and Application, Engineering Information and Databases for undergraduates and Underground Structures for graduates. His research focuses on stabilization of underground chambers and digital twin of hydraulic engineering. He has participated in more than thirty engineering consultancy projects.
