Paula Foster is a native of Atlanta, GA! As rare as it is to find a Georgia Peach, she is also a rare jewel. Because of the struggles she faced growing up, she truly feels it pushed her into the person she is today. Who is that person you ask? Paula is a visionary, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, domestic violence survivor and advocate, author, and so much more! She is the founder of Fostering Hearts, which while currently in the startup phase, will be an all in one Transitional Home for those affected by Domestic Violence. The center will house and provide all the necessary essentials for a victim of Domestic Violence to reclaim her life and be who God called them to be. Paula knows this area all too well being a survivor of Domestic Violence herself. When God allowed her to escape, she vowed she wouldn't stop until she provided for others what she didn't have for herself. Since making that vow to God, Paula has been on the move. While she sat quiet for close to six years because of the fear and embarrassment of being a victim of Domestic Violence, once she crushed fear in the face it was on from there. Since walking in her victory, Paula has assisted many in their walk. She provides daily motivation and encouragement via Social Media and in her daily talks with others. She's aided over 20 women in finding their purpose and colliding with their destiny. She's a huge supporter of many, as she understands what it's like to be on the battlefield and have to walk alone. Paula has spoken and/or hosted at Red Heels in the City Empowerment Summit for young girls ages 8 and up, P.U.R.S.E. Foundation Domestic Violence Awareness program, Game Changers Women's Empowerment Summit, where she was awarded the Game Changer Award, the What's a Girl To Do Summit, as well as, the D.A.B. for Love Youth Conference. She speaks on her past while encouraging those in attendance to not allow their past to determine their present or future. Ms. Foster travels the country speaking to the youth, young adults, and adults on her past and encouraging them to be different. With her organization Fostering Hearts, she hosts a yearly event entitled, Purple Tie Monologues, which is an in-depth, real time look into the lives of those who have experienced different areas of Domestic Violence. Paula truly has a heart and a purpose to serve others. She's also a mentor for youth and young adult ladies, an empowerment speaker and host, visionary, friend, and more.
