About The Author

Fehr, Emily: - Emily Fehr is a children's author, oral storyteller, and musical director, as well as a teacher, mother, and grandmother. I Like to Sing is based on her daughter, whose singing continues to cheer her family like the story's protagonist. Emily composed the lullaby "He's Got His Angels Watching Me" when her daughter was young and afraid to go to bed. Her children have carried on the tradition of comforting their children with the lullaby.

In addition to writing stories, Emily likes to tell stories that pass her family legacy, orally or through scrapbooking. She also enjoys camping, gardening, cooking, and sewing in her spare time, as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren.
