God made me for a reason.

I trust whatever he plans.

His ways don't make sense to me,

But he's got me in his hands.

I wish I could stand up, but I can't.

In this sweetly illustrated children's book, Debbie Oelke opens up about life with multiple sclerosis after it took her ability to walk. Details of Debbie's daily life will capture children's imaginations as they discover those in wheelchairs may have special needs but live fully in spite of their disabilities. Children will learn that a disability like MS doesn't define who you are. God loves you no matter what! Children will see the importance of kindness for those all around them with disabilities. Most importantly, they will learn to trust God in all circumstances, knowing he always has our best interests at heart.

First in the series Be Kind: Understanding Disability.

Kliewer, Hannah: - Hannah Kliewer is an illustrator and graphic artist from Kansas discovering the gifts God has given her to spread the good news and impact people with the things she creates. Oelke, Debbie: - Debbie Oelke was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of twenty-five but did not experience any disability for the next eighteen years. She now encounters life in a wheelchair. Having experienced rapid disease progression, she has learned to cling tightly to the Lord for sustenance. Debbie thoroughly enjoys small-town life in Kansas with her husband and three children.
