Harry Thompson lived an adventurous enough life that by the age of 58 he had more than the usual share of pain locked up in his body. He tried everything to relieve the pain. Then a chance encounter with a person who recommended cold rather than heat sent Harry on a years-long odyssey of research into a way to eradicate pain, which he began to call "ice therapy." What he found was that ice therapy, done correctly, brings eye-popping results. These results are well worth the small investment that is required: the price of a standard drug-store ice bag and a copy of this book. Ice Therapy is what Harry discovered, written as a do-it-yourself handbook so you can do what he did and benefit from your own results.

Harry Thompson was born and raised in California. He graduated from Jr. College in 1965 then transferred to UCLA. During the summers he worked as a grip in motion pictures but left school when he got the opportunity to work as an assistant cameraman, and later as a camera operator. When he was forty-two he decided to go back to school, and entered a two year program in Radiological Sciences at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. After taking X-rays for fourteen years he returned to school for a one year program in Echocardiography at Loma Linda University Hospital. He retired in 2006 and lives in Seattle, Washington.
