She is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice and a partner in Foster Roberts Cardona through which she provides organisational consultancy and professional development services. She has published widely in the field of mental health and is co-editor of and a principal contributor to Managing Mental Health in the Community: chaos and containment (A. Foster & V. Roberts (Eds.), Routledge, 1898). Josephine Klein was an academic for the first twenty years of her professional life and then a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice, now retired. Her two most recent publications are Our Need for Others and its Roots in Infancy. Routledge, previously Tavistock 1987 and Doubts and Uncertainties in the Practice of Psychotherapy (Karnac Books, 1995).
Victoria O'Connell comes from a background of work with children with emotional difficulties. She is now a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice. "
