Psychologe) Diese beiden Zitate weisen auf zwei zusammenhängende Thematiken hin, welche in den letzten Jahren immer wieder im Fokus schulpolitischer Diskussionen stand, die Heterogenität und die Individualität. So ist in diesem Zusammenhang die im neuen Schulgesetz NRW festgeschriebene individuelle Förderung anzuführen. Aber auch die steigende Heterogenität in den Schulen und der Umgang mit dieser stehen vermehrt im öffentlichen Fokus. So wird mittlerweile in der heutigen Lehrerausbildung ein Schwerpunkt auf differenziertes unterrichten gelegt, da in den Klassen höchst unterschiedliche Schülerinnen und Schüler anzutreffen sind. Die vorliegende Arbeit möchte sich mit einer dieser unterschiedlichen Schülergruppen auseinandersetzen, die Gruppe der Hochbegabten. Im Mittelpunkt sollen dabei die Diagnose- und Förderungsmöglichkeiten Hochbegabter Schülerinnen und Schüler stehen. Insbesondere sollen die Fragen gestellt werden, warum in diesem Bereich überhaupt eine Identifikation bzw. Förderung Hochbegabter nötig ist und wie diese aussehen können? Zu Beginn der Arbeit soll jedoch zunächst darauf eingegangen werden, was unter Hochbegabung zu verstehen ist. Hierzu erfolgt in einem ersten Schritt eine Abgrenzung von dem Begriff der Intelligenz. Im Folgenden soll auf verschiedene Hochbegabungsmodelle eingegangen werden um anschlie end die Diagnose- und Förderungsmöglichkeiten Hochbegabter zu klären.
