Acest lucru ne-a determinat pe mulți dintre noi să căutăm adevărul �n presa alternativă, la acei autori de buletine informative care, la fel ca mine, au cercetat, dar nu �ntotdeauna au găsit, motivele pentru care Statele Unite sunt �ntr-o stare at�t de gravă. Porunca "căutați și veți găsi" nu s-a aplicat �ntotdeauna �n cazul acestui grup. Ceea ce am descoperit este că oamenii trăiesc �n mare parte �ntr-un fel de ceață obscură, fără să se obosească să afle �ncotro se �ndreaptă țara lor, ferm convinși că aceasta va fi �ntotdeauna acolo pentru ei. Așa a fost manipulată cea mai mare parte a populației să reacționeze, iar atitudinea lor joacă exact �n favoarea guvernului secret.

Auzim adesea că "ei" fac una, alta sau alta. "Ei" par literalmente capabili să scape cu crima. "Ei" măresc impozitele, ne trimit fiii și fiicele să moară �n războaie care nu aduc niciun beneficiu țării noastre. "Ei" par de neatins, invizibili, frustranți și neclari atunci c�nd ar fi potrivit să luăm măsuri �mpotriva lor. Nimeni nu pare capabil să identifice clar cine sunt "ei". Este o situație care persistă de zeci de ani. Pe parcursul acestei cărți, �i vom identifica pe acești misterioși "ei", iar apoi va fi la latitudinea oamenilor să remedieze situația.

Pe 30 aprilie 1981, am scris o monografie care dezvăluia existența Clubului de la Roma, identific�ndu-l ca o organizație subversivă a Comitetului celor 300. Acest site a fost prima mențiune a acestor două organizații �n Statele Unite. I-am avertizat pe cititori să nu se lase induși �n eroare crez�nd că articolul era exagerat și am tras o paralelă �ntre articolul meu și avertismentul emis de guvernul bavarez c�nd planurile secrete ale Illuminati au ajuns �n m�inile sale. Mai multe despre Clubul de la Roma și rolul Comitetului celor 300 �n afacerile americane mai t�rziu.

Multe dintre predicțiile făcute �n acel articol din 1981 s-au �mplinit de atunci, cum ar fi faptul că necunoscutul Felipe Gonzalez a devenit prim-ministru al Spaniei, iar Mitterrand a revenit la putere �n Franța; căderea lui Giscard d'Estaing și a lui Helmut Schmidt; revenirea la putere a nobilului suedez și membru al Comitetului celor 300, Olof Palme (care a fost ulterior ucis �n circumstanțe misterioase); răsturnarea președinției lui Reagan; și distrugerea industriilor noastre siderurgice, auto și imobiliare �n conformitate cu obiectivul Comitetului celor 300 de creștere zero post-industrială.
