Può un siciliano abiurare il proprio "Idioma" giusto nell'atto più eccelso del comporre che, nello specifico, è rappresentato dai versi?
Semplicemente non lo ritengo possibile poiché, in caso contrario, verrebbe fuori il "vestito buono della domenica" esso è bello e lindo, ma è solo per i giorni di festa. Si scrive per aprire gli argini alla piena del cuore e della mente.
In fondo, l'impeto dell'acqua - per natura limacciosa - rappresenta il movimento interiore, fisico e mentale di ogni essere vivente. Per me, una delle metafore che meglio rendono la "migrazione" materiale e mentale è "IL PONTILE". Da esso, infatti, si parte per un viaggio, per una nuova vita, per sfuggire alle persecuzioni e alle
guerre, per seguire un amore o un ideale, oppure semplicemente per vedere partire gli altri.
Il Pontile è momento di partenza, ma anche di arrivo. È un punto d'imbarco o di sbarco "povero", precario, a volte provvisorio e poco ha a che fare con il grande porto che massifica e materializza l'essere umano.
Esso è a misura d'uomo, ha un certo fascino e ha la giusta dose di romanticismo.
Solo piccole imbarcazioni vi possono accostare e, spesso, per imbarcarsi si ha bisogno della mano di qualcuno; così come chi ritorna necessita, per scendere dalla piccola imbarcazione e "prendere terra", della stessa mano.
Il mio Pontile è appunto un crocevia di emozioni, di tempeste dell'animo, di momenti eterni, di sogni e anche di illusioni. La vita stessa e il suo migrare è l'eterna lotta tra la speranza e l'illusione.
Ed ecco che i versi devono, giocoforza, tendere all'ermetico. E sono dedicati a quanti sentono di avere un mondo nel cuore e sognano e sperano nel Pontile dell'esistenza.
In fondo, la poesia non è forse lo squilibrio tra l'essere e il sognare?
