Barry Herrin is a lawyer in the Atlanta, Georgia area. He is admitted to the bars of Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and is a Fellow of the American Health Information Management Association. He has written numerous professional publications over his 24 year law career. This is his second work in the non-legal arena; his first book was a self-published history of the Strickland Cotton Mill and the city of Remerton, Georgia. Barry received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgia State University in Atlanta, graduating each time with honors. When he isn't working, he volunteers his time to the Boy Scouts of America, the Civil Air Patrol, and the United Methodist Church. For his good works and volunteer service, he was invested as a Kentucky Colonel in 2012.
