Jim Crosby is a lifetime baseball fan and devoted reader of scripture. He broadcast Florida State University baseball games on radio for 23 years, after covering the Seminoles for two years as an evening sports anchor on the local ABC television station. He has written over 500 devotions that can be read on his website www.writeman.com. He has published over 700 sports articles and three books prior. These include: "Devotions for the Armchair Quarterback," "You Can't Become a Football Overnight," and "Monday Morning Devotions." Jim is the District Lay Leader for the Northwest District of the Florida Methodist Conference. He lives in Tallahassee, FL with his wife Susette who has own interior design firm. They have five grown children and two grandchildren. They are charter members of Good Samaritan United Methodist Church.
