Wie gestaltet sich dieser und welche Chancen bietet er vor dem Hintergrund neuer Marktsituationen? Zunächst wird jedoch aufgezeigt, in welche gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen die industrielle Fertigung eingebettet ist, um dann im Speziellen das Hauptaugenmerk auf die Analyse der industriellen Fertigung und deren Technikbedarf anhand theoretischer Grundlagen und einer vorliegenden arbeitssoziologischen Untersuchung zur erfahrungsgeleiteten Arbeit zu richten. Die Ausarbeitung gliedert sich dabei wie folgt: Zunächst wird in Abschnitt 2 die Diskussion der Informationsgesellschaft ausführlich beschrieben, welche den Rahmen für die gesamte Arbeit bildet. Die Darstellung der These "Risikogesellschaft als Konsequenz der Eigendynamik einer Industriennation" nach Ulrich Beck und anschlie end ein Blick auf Deutschmanns "wissenssoziologische Interpretation industrieller Rationalisierung" folgen im dritten Abschnitt. Schlie lich wird in Abschnitt 4 die Notwendigkeit erfahrungsgeleiteter Arbeit in der industriellen Produktion erläutert. Malschs Überlegungen zur "Informatisierung des betrieblichen Erfahrungswissens" sollen hierbei zum besseren Verständnis der Diskussion, um das Thema "Ermittlung von Technikbedarf" beitragen. Anhand der KOMPASS-Methode die dies praktisch umsetzt soll die Thematik nochmals veranschaulicht werden. Eine kritische Auseinandersetzung und ein Blick in die nahe Zukunft der Informationsgesellschaft schlie en die Ausarbeitung ab.
