This writing journey has been life-changing. Several times I put it down and asked whether I could, or should even do it. Some of my own people complained and said I shouldn't, it was not for anybody, they said. And then the world tipped upside down. Yes, you know it, right? We're heading down a slippery slope to who knows where. What will it take to stop this wild race to the bottom of humanity?

A new mindset. To trust in ourselves. One person at a time.

I believe our ancestors, left their writings for us, for me and you, for this very time.

Ryan, Mariko B.: - The author lives in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and hails from the northern tribe of Te Rarawa. She is a kaitiaki, guardian, of the once hidden writings of her great-grandfather, a tohunga, sage. After spending her life studying and writing about the esoteric knowledge of her people, recent world events and challenges have inspired her to share the knowledge of her ancestors.
