Dr. Lothar Dietrich (1950) studierte Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen an der TU Berlin und promovierte in der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau zum Dr.-Ing. Er leitete diverse Großprojekte in der Industrie auf den Gebieten Fertigungstechnik und -organisation. Seit ca. 15 Jahren ist Herr Dr. Dietrich in der Beratung für Geschäftsprozesse und Informationstechnologie tätig. Zu seinen Stationen gehörten die Unternehmen Krupp und Krauss-Maffei. Für das Unternehmen Siemens-Nixdorf war er zuständig für strategische Großprojekte. Unter anderem war er auch beteiligt an der Vorbereitung der Fusion beider Unternehmen. Danach übernahm er für 9 Jahre bei einem Automobil-Zulieferer die Verantwortung für die gesamte technische und kommerzielle IT. Als CIO für den Babcock Borsig Konzern entwickelte er die IT zu effektiven Standards und führte SAP R/3 in allen wichtigen Gesellschaften von Anlagen- und Maschinenbau einschließlich Werftbereich HDW mit konzernweiten Standards ein. IT-Prozesse und die damit verbundenen IT-Systeme sind für Dr. Dietrich die entscheidende Unterstützung für die Geschäftsprozesse. Aus seinen Erfahrungen referierte er mehrfach vor Praktikern bzw. Managern der Industrie in Deutschland, USA und Asien. Sein Motto ist, die IT von der Bit- und Byte-Betrachtung zur Prozessorientierung zu führen. Seit Januar 2003 ist Herr Dr. Dietrich Geschäftsführer des Beratungsunternehmens Manß & Partner GmbH

Dr. Wolfgang Schirra (1952) studierte Mathematik mit Nebenfach Physik an der Universität Kaiserslautern, wo er auch 1978 in Mathematik promovierte. Danach war er bis Anfang 1981 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Bundeskriminalamt, Wiesbaden, tätig. 1981 begann er seine Karriere als Berater bei McKinsey und Company, Inc. in Düsseldorf, wo er 1987 zum Partner gewählt wurde. 1994 verließ er McKinsey und wurde Geschäftsführer bei Knight Wendling Consulting in Düsseldorf. 1996 wechselte er als Partner zu Booz Allen Hamilton, wo er Anfang 2000zum Senior Partner gewählt wurde. Dr. Schirra ist derzeit der globale Leader der Booz Allen Hamilton IT Management Consulting Practice. Als Mitglied des European Board von Booz Allen Hamilton ist er außerdem verantwortlich für alle funktionalen Practices von Booz Allen Hamilton in Europa, d. h. neben IT auch Organisation/Change Management und Operations. Seine Branchenschwerpunkte sind Automobilindustrie, Energieversorger, Pharma und Telekommunikation.
