Bedeutung der Supply Chain und Letzten Meile für die Logistik und Chancen und Risiken selbiger. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Beantwortung der Frage, welche innovativen Konzepte es aktuell gibt, welche Potenziale diese bringen und welche Herausforderungen und Grenzen es bei dem Einsatz gibt, die es zu bewältigen gilt. Im ersten Kapitel wird die Ausgangssituation beschrieben. Die Fragestellungen und das Ziel der Arbeit werden im Anschluss erläutert. Der Gesamtüberblick wird mit dem methodischen Vorgehen und dem Aufbau der Arbeit abgeschlossen. In Kapitel zwei liegt der Fokus auf den innovativen Konzepten der "Letzten Meile". Zuerst werden die Begriffe Letzte Meile, KEP-Dienstleister und Supply Chain beschrieben. Im Anschluss daran wird der Begriff Supply Chain in die Distributionslogistik eingeordnet. Das 3. Kapitel beschreibt die verschiedenen Innovationen, die im Bereich der "Letzten Meile" zum Einsatz kommen, oder kommen könnten. Hierbei werden sowohl die Potenziale der Innovation berücksichtigt als auch die Chancen und Risiken. Basierend auf dem Umfang der Arbeit wird hierbei nur auf vier der möglichen Konzepte eingegangen: - Lieferung durch Drohnen, - Lieferung durch Lieferroboter, - Einsatz von Mikrodepots und - Crowd-basierte Lieferdienste. In Kapitel 4 werden Praxisbeispiele der Drohnenlieferung und Lieferroboter genannt. Abschlie end wird in Kapitel 5 ein persönliches Resümee gezogen und ein Ausblick darauf gegeben, welchen Einfluss die innovativen Last-Mile-Konzepte in Logistikprozessen und Supply Chains haben und welche Rolle diese in Zukunft spielen werden.
