Loss, love, crises of faith and anguish are a part of being human. If lucky, pain brings insight that enables healing. As I counseled myself, I was also counseling them. This book shares those insights. The insights hurt - at least they did at the time. But they also brought healing and a life now filled with happiness.

Dan Shulman is a Jewish lawyer. In that sense, he is completely unremarkable. But, he is also a writer, thinker, father, teacher, spiritual guide, lover and friend. This book represents his breakthrough, achieved over the course of several years as he made peace and found inspiration through heartache. This book represents his path to finding a healthy, loving relationship, and being found by God.
