Manthappa M (MBBS, MD)
is currently Professor, Department of Medicine, and Vice Principal, JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, Karnataka. He obtained his MBBS and MD from Manipal University (now MAHE).
He has also authored three other medical books Manipal Prep Manual of Medicine 3/e, Manipal Prep Manual of Medicine for Dental Students and another book on diabetes for general public. His books are known for the simple narrative style and clarity.
