His four books, most recently Working with India (2009) and Rightshore! (2008; coeditors Anja Hendel and Frank Thun), and many journal publications deal with the business impact of information technologies and intercultural collaboration. He holds a doctorate from the University of Kassel (Germany), an MBA from the University of Wales (UK), and an advanced degree in computing science after studies at the Technical University Munich (Germany) and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK).
