Internet + Agriculture uses new-generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, mobile Internet, Cloud computing, spatial information, and smart equipment to reconfigure agricultural resource elements. Through the online integration and digitization of the entire chain, industry, and elements, traditional field planting, facility horticulture, livestock and poultry breeding, and aquaculture are entering a new format that is more competitive, more productive, efficient, higher quality, ecological, and safe.

This book discusses the Internet+ modern agriculture in a comprehensive, multi-angle, systematic, and objective manner from the "six-dimensional" theory, fresh cases, and development strategies with a view to providing theoretical and policy support for China's ongoing modern agricultural transformation and supply-side reforms. This is a reference book for researchers in disciplines such as agricultural informatization, agricultural system engineering, information management and information systems, as well as agricultural and rural information management departments and comprehensive service agencies for agricultural and rural information.
