Our books are written for teachers and parents who are interested in fostering invention in children. Our first book, Fostering Inventiveness in Children, covers young inventors, invention and play, and the psychology of young inventors. This book, Invention Friday Curriculum, offers a series of 1-2 hour workshop style lessons that can be taught weekly over a 9-month primary school K-5 curriculum or in after school programs or at home.

Sheila J. Henderson lives in Palo Alto, California with her husband, though both have recently moved to New York City. As Interim Associate Provost, Sheila continues to lead intercultural diversity initiatives at Alliant International University. After studying economics at Simmons College and receiving an MBA from University of Chicago, she worked in consulting, finance, and business process innovation. Following her PhD in counseling psychology from Stanford University, Sheila won the Hans Sauer Foundation award for her research on inventors. Sheila's unifying career theme is coaching people and organizations to full creative potential. Rosemarie K. Moore now lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband. Her background includes teaching in California public schools, and advanced degrees at Stanford University. Her MA in educational psychology and PhD in developmental and clinical psychology led to university teaching at Stanford University and Santa Clara University, to educational program development in public schools, and to clinical supervision for graduate intern group-leaders of students. As a clinical psychologist in private practice, she worked with children, families and professionals for 25 years in Palo Alto, California.
