Bei akutem Handlungsbedarf im Kinderschutz bleibt in der Praxis jedoch oftmals nicht genügend Zeit für umfangreiches Überprüfen. Wie können Kleinkinder dennoch am Überprüfungs- und Hilfeprozess beteiligt werden? Wie können überhaupt Gespräche mit Kleinkindern geführt werden? Die vorliegende Arbeit gibt einen Überblick über Möglichkeiten der Miteinbeziehung von Kindern innerhalb des Kinderschutzes. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, Fachkräfte zu motivieren, Kinder auch in schwierigen Situationen zu beteiligen. Dazu werden zunächst grundlegende Begrifflichkeiten wie Kinderschutz und Kindeswohlgefährdung geklärt. Schlie lich folgt eine theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit der kindlichen Entwicklung und dem Wandel des Bildes vom Kind. Au erdem ist zu klären, welche Entwicklungsgrundlagen für eine Beteiligung durch Gespräche bei Kindern ausschlaggebend sind. Dabei möchte ich besonders Aspekte der Sprachentwicklung aufgreifen, auf entwicklungspsychologische Perspektiven eingehen und das Bild vom Kind im Wandel umrei en. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die Ausarbeitung von Beteiligungsformen innerhalb eines Kinderschutzverfahrens und auf methodische Erkenntnisse der Gesprächsführung mit Kindern gelegt.
