Frasure, Darius: - Darius Frasure is a highly sought after educator, writer, publisher, coach, and consultant. He holds degrees from Paul Quinn College, Luther Rice Seminary, National University, and Fielding Graduate University. His work revolves around partnerships with literary arts and education organizations, which impact the state of Texas and the U.S. His writing appears in many literary journals and select readings are on youtube. He has one spoken word album, Spoken Pieces (2010), and his poetry collection, of stone and rope, was published in the fall of 2019. Currently, he is the chief editor for Iris Literary Journal. He also manages Assure Press Publishing & Consulting, LLC, which connects authors and artists with the world through poetry, non-fiction, motivational, and educational literature that is mostly, but not only, in the English language. Hobson, Aerial: - Aerial Hobson is a Literary Studies graduate from The University of Texas at Dallas. She is an avid reader of all things Historical Fiction, Ethnic-American Literature, Poetic, and YA. She is a member of the Alumni Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her work has been recognized by the Omicron Mu Omega Chapter of AKA, UTD, and the City of Grand Prairie. In addition to her role at Assure Press, she is also an academic advisor for early college high school students enrolled at Cedar Valley College. In her spare time, Aerial enjoys brunching around the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, attending Slam Poetry events, and writing short stories.
Spencer, Camika: - Camika Spencer holds a B.S. in Broadcast Communications, M.A. in Playwriting, and an M.F.A in Creative Writing Education. She is the author of best-selling novels: When All Hell Breaks Loose (Random House), Cubicles (Random House/Villard) and He Had It Coming (St. Martin's Press). Her playwright credits include Blind Seven, Middle of NowHere, Teach, Things That Go Bump, Pious (with Kyndal Robertson), Super (with Kyndal Robertson, and Lindsay Jenkins), Stalled, and Silver Anne Gold. Camika has Directed shows for many of Dallas' finest Theatre Companies such as The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, Soul Rep Theater, Bishop Arts Theater, Lancaster Independent School District, and Junior Players in conjunction with Kitchen Dog Theater Company.
