Dickinson, Bruce: - Bruce Dickinson, born on August 7, 1958, in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, is best known as the lead vocalist of the legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden. He joined the band in 1981, contributing to their rise as one of the most influential acts in heavy metal history.
Beyond his work with Iron Maiden, Dickinson has pursued a diverse range of interests. He is a licensed commercial pilot, author, and accomplished fencer. In 2014, he was diagnosed with throat cancer but made a full recovery after treatment.
