What is Nicole's Story? Nicole Feledy is an English teacher from Australia who has a passion for learning and writing. After 15 years teaching English at an independent school in Sydney's Northern Beaches, Nicole now provides mindset training for young adults. Her particular area of expertise is helping individuals identify their strengths and improve their literacy. Years of classroom experience showed Nicole that functional emotional literacy provides a strong foundation for effective critical and creative literacy. These key skills are powerful tools for learning. Unfortunately, most educational systems fail to teach them. Many schools are so bound by bureaucracy and content laden curriculums that students learn how to imitate rather than learning how to learn. Therefore, Nicole's quest was to devise a map, forge a set of keys and expose a door for young people to discover more about themselves and their world. She wanted to share the magic of creativity and the power of critical literacy. So Nicole developed a formula - a series of ten steps along a learning path to encourage young adults to learn how to learn. Stories have been Nicole's constant companion.
