'It Makes Me Want To Praise When I Remember God's Faithfulness' is the second volume of author Susan Stem's God Stories, written to share God's love and convey His purpose through the lived examples of her life. Combined with Biblical scriptures, Stem draws from her experiences as a girl, a wife, a mother, grandmother (Grams), a friend, a coworker, a nurse and a mentor to encourage and inspire readers to seek God and submit their lives to His perfect process and plan.

This book can be read as a collection of stories, or as a weekly devotional, with the last entry reserved for the reader to write their own God Story.

About The Author

Stem, Susan: - Susan grew up in Ohio in a loving, Christian family where she learned to love Jesus. She has always had a heart to minister to those that are unloved and outcasts and God gave her a dream to have a camp one day where young people would be loved and nurtured. This led her to attend Word of Life Bible Institute where she was able to learn God's word and put it into practice by serving in the youth camps. Upon graduation, she ministered with Youth for Christ in the detention centers and served as a houseparent for the Christian Life Home for pregnant unwed girls. She has two sons which she began homeschooling until she began to go to nursing school in 2003. She graduated in 2007 and then became a foster mom in 2011 after her sons graduated and went off to Word of Life Bible Institute. She volunteered at Royal Family Kids Camp for foster youth as their nurse in 2015 and continued as a volunteer with Teenworks mentoring program. In 2016, God led her to be the Founder and Director of the REACH Mentoring Ministry for foster and at-risk young people, where she has coordinated and led events at children's homes, began mentoring clubs in the public schools, and directed summer day camps since 2021. She is currently working as a school nurse which she absolutely loves and provides her ministry opportunities every day. She is continually striving to be a conduit of love to everyone she encounters. Susan has been happily married to Jay Stem for the past six and a half years. God has blessed her with two wonderful sons, Benjamin, John-Mark and his wife, Anna and their two daughters, Abigail and Elaine. She loves being Grams, which brings her such joy and delight and is grateful for each and every opportunity she gets to spend with them. She also loves to read, write, participate and lead Bible studies, and serve at her church. She loves to spend time with her family and friends and be adventurous and check things off on her bucket list. Most of all, Susan loves Jesus and she is continually amazed how God is continuing to redeem her life and provide so many opportunities to share her testimony with others.
