Jean Christophe In Paris is a novel by the French author Romain Rolland. It is the second book in the Jean Christophe series and was first published in 1905. The story follows the life of Jean Christophe Krafft, a German musician who moves to Paris to pursue his career. In Paris, Jean Christophe struggles to make a living and faces numerous challenges, including poverty, illness, and rejection from the music industry. Despite these obstacles, he remains determined to succeed and eventually finds success as a composer. Along the way, he meets a variety of characters, including fellow musicians, artists, and intellectuals, and becomes involved in various political and social causes. The book explores themes such as the struggle for artistic expression, the pursuit of happiness, and the importance of friendship and community. Worst of all, --cut off from the great mass of their people, they are also cut off from each other.
