Hampton, Scott: - Scott Hampton is an American comic book artist known for his painted work. Scott's work on Silverheels from Pacific Comics in 1983 is regarded as the first continuing painted comic of US origin. His work includes illustrations for Batman, Sandman, Black Widow, Hellraiser, and Star Trek, as well as Magic: The Gathering cards. Hampton has recently completed his work on American Gods for Dark Horse. His art also appears in the six-part documentary Inexplicable: How Christianity spread to the ends of the earth.

Niles, Steve: - Steve Niles is a writer, best known for works such as 30 Days of Night, October Faction, Criminal Macabre, Simon Dark, Frankenstein Alive! Alive! and Batman: Gotham County Line. The success of 30 Days of Night sparked renewed interest in the comic horror genre after it was released as a major motion picture in 2007. His ongoing comic series, The October Faction, was made into a Netlix TV show in 2020. Steve got his start in the comic industry when he formed his own publishing company, Arcane Comix, where he published, edited and adapted several comics and anthologies, including works by Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Harlan Ellison. Steve resides outside Los Angeles with his wife, Monica, four dogs, three cats and Gil the tortoise.

Russell, Jay: - Jay Russell began his journey as a screenwriter/director at Columbia University in New York City, where he studied under the tutelage of Academy Award winning director Milos Forman. Subsequently, Russell was invited to attend the Sundance Institute Film Workshop to develop what would become his first film, "End of the Line," starring Levon Helm and Kevin Bacon. Russell followed with his Critics Choice Awards winning, "My Dog Skip," with Frankie Muniz, Kevin Bacon and Diane Lane. Other films include, "Tuck Everlasting," with Alexis Bledel and Sir Ben Kingsley, "Ladder 49," starring Joaquin Phoenix and John Travolta, and "The Water Horse," featuring Emily Watson and Brian Cox. His credits also include numerous documentaries and films for television, and served as the producer of the Hartford Stage production of "Rear Window," starring Kevin Bacon. "Black Sparrow," is his first graphic novel.
