Calero, Dennis: - Artist and writer Dennis Calero has worked with Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and many others. He is the creator of The Suit for Dark Horse comics, as well as co-creator of Xmen Noir for Marvel. With actor/writer Todd Stashwick, Dennis is also the co-creator of the webcomic, Devil Inside. In addition, he has worked with Akiva Goldsman and Ron Howard.
He was born in Miami Beach Florida and lives in New York. He attended the Pratt Institute, studying Architecture before changing majors to illustration. Whether or not that was the correct choice still remains to be seen.
King, Sandy: - Writer, film and television producer, and CEO of Storm King Productions.
With a background in art, photography and animation, Sandy King's filmmaking career has included working with John Cassavetes, Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Mann, Walter Hill, John Hughes and John Carpenter.
She has produced films ranging from public service announcements on Hunger Awareness, to a documentary on astronaut and teacher Christa McAuliffe for CNN, and major theatrical hits like They Live and John Carpenter's Vampires. More recently, she directed and produced the John Carpenter Live tour film and produced horror/thriller, The Manor, for Blumhouse and Amazon.
King is the first woman founder of a comic publishing house. Through Storm King Comics, she has created and written the award-winning Asylum series, the multiple award-winning Tales for a HalloweeNight anthologies the monthly, Tales of Science Fiction, and the graphic novel line, Night Terrors. In December 2019, King launched the new comics line, Storm Kids, offering comics for ages 4 to 18 years old, and in 2021, received an Eisner nomination for the all ages title, Stanley's Ghost. Dark & Twisted is the newest line from Storm King Comics, focusing on horror stories with no supernatural of Sci-fi elements.
Worley, Alec: - ALEC WORLEY is an award-lacking author from South London. He's spent the last 15 years entertaining folks with comics, fiction and audio dramas filled with swords, fangs and lasers. He's written Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for younger readers, but is probably best known for his work on the psychic future-cop Judge Anderson and vampire bounty hunter Durham Red for legendary British anthology comic 2000 AD (home of Judge Dredd). He also writes adventure stories for Warhammer (notably those involving hapless criminal duo Baggit and Clodde, and the crazed Adepta Sororitas Sister Adamanthea). He's had several spooky stories featured in Tales For a HalloweeNight, and recently completed his first American graphic novel, The Coffin Road, also for Storm King Comics.
