The Listener and her Friend go on a multidimensional quest to understand the soul-origins of the human being. They meet in the present day, and Listener, who receives the stories within her highly receptive mind, journeys on under the guidance and direction of the Elder. The Friend is ever-present as she sits in the cozy chair, being told the stories as they unfold. The Elder is a mysterious figure, an ever-changing form, and is the keeper and guardian of the Library of All Knowledge. The memory stories often begin in the atrium of this Library, which itself appears differently each time as it reflects what is about to be shown.

In the end, this story is being told by the Elder, sometimes playfully, yet deeply profound. The memories are moments lifted out of the depths of forgotten time; vignettes of a luminous humanity, and intimate walks with individuals existing at the remembered time. Interspersed throughout the book are precious verses and wisdom statements from ancient texts, spiritual teachers and authors, myths and legends that resonate and reflect what the Elder is teaching.

Also, there are small present-life memory moments that speak to the author's journey of being a listener-receiver of such information of magnitude.

This book is full of remarkable knowledge and illuminating messages as to who we are and why we are here. It gives a vision of great scope and uplifting inspiration.
