Wahrend die Fertigungsplanung festlegt, wie (mit welchen Fertigungsverfahren?) ein Produkt zu fertigen ist, entscheidet der planende Anteil der Ferti- gungssteuerung darUber, was (welche Produkte?), wieviel (in welchen Mengen?), wann (zu welchem Zeitpunkt?) und let- lich auch wo (auf welchem der laut Arbeitsplan moglichen Ar- beitsplatze?) gefertigt werden solI. Der steuernde und der Uberwachende Anteil (der oft auch als organisatorischer lnfor- mationsfluB bezeichnet wird) hat dann daftir zu sorgen, daB die Sollvorgaben des planenden Anteils eingehalten werden. 1m Mittelpunkt der weiteren AusfUhrungen steht der Problemkreis des planenden Anteils der Fertigungssteuerung (oft auch als Ablaufplanung bezeichnet); die Problemkreise der organisatorischen Steuerung und Uberwachung sowie die Verkntipfung zum Ubergeord- neten betrieblichen Fertigungssteuerungssystem werden nur inso- weit betrachtet, als dies ftir die Entwicklung geeigneter Pla- nungsverfahren von Bedeutung ist. 1. 2 Fertigungssteuerung flexibler Fertigungssysteme 1m flexiblen Fertigungssystem sind die unmittelbar vor Fertigungs- beginn anfallenden Aufgaben der Fertigungssteuerung durchzuftihren. Hierzu gehoren die tagliche Auftragszusammenstellung sowie die Planung, Steuerung und Uberwachung des ortlichen ("Routing") und des zeitlichen ("Sequencing") Auftragsdurchlaufs. Diese Aufgaben mtissen im flexiblen Fertigungssystem im Gegensatz zur herkommlichen Werkstattfertigung, bei der die kurzfristige Fertigungssteuerung manuell vom Meister oder Arbeitsverteiler abgewickelt wird, auto- matisiert ablaufen.
