Karunanidhi: A Life in Politics chronicles the trailblazing life of one of India's most important politicians for the first time in English. It depicts in dramatic detail Karunanidhi's relationships with the who's who of Tamil politics: from friend-turned-foe M.G. Ramachandran to bitter rival Jayalalithaa. And it considers the road ahead for the state at a time when lightweights have assumed power and demigods like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are waiting in the wings.

Ravishankar, Sandhya: - Sandhya Ravishankar is a journalist based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She won the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award in the Environmental Reporting category in 2019 for her series of exposes on illegal beach sand mining in Tamil Nadu, published by the Wire in 2017. Sandhya is now the editor of The Lede, her independent start-up in the area of digital journalism.
