Following decades of disenfranchisement, Jeremy Corbyn's leadership of the Labour Party signalled hope - that need would triumph over greed, that the planet might not burn, that politics would be kinder. His programme for government promised to be transformative. He also supported Palestine. He had to be stopped.

Between 2015 and 2019, the Labour leadership was subject to accusations that anti-Semitism was endemic in the party, culminating in the allegation that Corbyn himself was Judeophobic. In the absence of factual evidence, his persecutors resorted to subjective claims of prejudice, demanded a purge of pro-Palestine socialists, dismissed logical objections and repeated lies until they took on the appearance of truth. The effect was cumulative, with each new story more damaging than the last, until the public believed that a lifelong anti-racist had enabled anti-Jewish racism to flourish.

Killing Corbynism is an anatomy of a black op. In chronological detail, this groundbreaking book investigates the State of Israel's role in Labour's 'anti-Semitism crisis'. Delving into history, it considers how strategies and tactics developed in Jerusalem stood ready to deflect any challenge to the state's continued existence and expansion. The target in this case was not just a man but also the movement he inspired. This shameful story implicates parliamentarians, lobbyists, charities, bureaucrats and journalists in the intervention of a foreign state in UK democracy - a state founded on colonisation and genocide.

About The Author

Gordon-Nesbitt, Rebecca: - Dr Rebecca Gordon-Nesbitt analyses and devises policy and strategy. She has worked within Parliament and with mayoral authorities, universities and the National Health Service. She has published a book on the cultural policy of the Cuban Revolution and several influential reports. Her investigative work has exposed some of the shortcomings of capitalism. Standing as a candidate in the 2019 general election, Rebecca experienced at first hand how false accusations of anti-Semitism were mobilised. That experience motivated her to spend five years researching and writing this book.
