Mary-Margaret "anand" Stratton is a Renaissance woman: musical composer, poet, author, architect, painter, sculptor, producer and Award-Winning Creative Art Director. She has degrees in Marketing and Design from UCLA. She has consulted for DreamWorks, Mattel and Tommy Bahamas. She's an architectural Preservationist who has restored Mid Century Modern homes, produced "Mondo Lounge" conferences, wrote two guides on Mid Century Modern architecture, is a recipient of the Vegas Mayor's Urban Design Award, and received a Cultural Heritage Commission Award for founding a nonprofit dedicated to historic preservation. Anand was ordained an Essene Minister. Her interest in esoteric spirituality led her to write the Good Wiccan. She received Certification as a Raw Food Nutritionist from the Body Mind Institute, and edited a compendium called Powerful and Dominant Heath. Anand ran an online communities for fifteen years, to support recovery for Dermatillomania, and wrote Stop Picking on Me. She is a former Marketing Chair for the Alliance for Addiction Solutions. Anand was born and raised in the City of Angels and is currently an on the Advisory Board for Valley Relics Museum. When not pursuing other eclectic endeavors, she likes to dance, sing, garden and watch movies with happy endings. Contributor Cary Stratton (aka Chef Mason Green) was born and raised in Los Angeles where he spent fifteen years in the film industry as a member of the MPEG working on Saving Private Ryan, the Big Lebowski and Titanic. He has built credentials in the music industry as a studio and live jazz and rock drummer for over thirty years. Besides music, Chef Mason's other love is... delicious healthy food! He studied with Chef Cherie Soria, at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute where he received certification as a Gourmet Raw Food Chef and Educator. Mason is also versed in wild food gathering in the Western Hemisphere. He teaches "Illuminati Health" through a pyramid of mental, physical and spiritual wellness. He has a lengthy association with mentoring, and Twelve Step and was a Board Member of the Alliance for Addiction Solutions. He was trained in amino acid recovery therapy, but he kicks it up a notch by incorporating Raw Foods. Recently, he received raves for co-developing the recipes for Eat Like Eve a raw food un-cookbook by Cherry Capri. Chef Mason has been successfully married to his wife, for over 25 years.
