Es ist daher sieher berechtigt, in der Offentlichkeit beispielsweise danach zu fra- gen, ob und falls ja in welchem MaB der Mensch durch seine Tatig- keit - z. B. seinen Energieverbrauch - Klimaanderungen hervorru- fen kann. Dabei ist fur den Laien oft nicht zu tibersehen, in welch brisanter Weise sowohl das Energie- als auch das Ernahrungspro- blem - angesichts der rapide zunehmenden Bevolkerung der Erd- mit dem Problem der Klimaschwankungen gekoppelt sind.
