Jansson, Tove: - Tove Jansson (1914-2001) estis svedlingva artistino kaj verkistino el Finnlando. Ŝiaj infanlibroj pri Mumintrolo kajaliaj estaĵoj en Muminvalo fariĝis tutmonde konataj, sed ŝi verkis ankaŭ romanojn kaj novelojn por plenkreskuloj.Tove kreskis en artista familio en Helsinko. Dum la milita tempo de 1939 ĝis 1945 ŝi komencis verki rakontojn pri la aparta mondo de Muminvalo kaj loĝigis en ĝi kelkajn figurojn ĉirkaŭ la centra rolo de Mumintrolo. La ilustraĵojn de la rakontoj ŝi kompreneble mem desegnis. En 1946 aperis Kometo en Muminvalo, kiu estas tresendependa verko, aventuro kiu baldaŭ iĝis fama kaj klasika infanlibro de tiu speco, kiu ravas ankaŭ plenkreskulojn.Sekvis aliaj verkoj, kaj baldaŭ ili ĉiuj aperis en alilingvaj tradukoj. La libroj pri Mumintrolo estas legataj kaj ŝatataj deinfanoj kaj plenkreskuloj en multaj landoj.Sume aperis pri Muminvalo ok longaj romanecaj rakontoj, unu kolekto de mallongaj rakontoj kaj kelkaj bildlibroj kunversoj por etaj infanoj. Krome Tove Jansson kreis bildstrian rakonton pri Mumintrolo. Surbaze de la Mumin-rakontoj ŝikreis ankaŭ teatraĵojn.

Johansson, Sten: - Sten Johansson, emerita oficisto. Naskiĝis en Kalmar, Svedujo en 1950. Li lernis Esperanton en 1966, komencis traduki literaturon el la sveda al esperanto en 1982, kaj komencis verki originale en 1986. Li verkas ĉefe novelojn, krimromanetojn, facil-legaĵojn kaj romanojn.
