Die Additive Fertigung hat seit Jahren Ihren Status als Technologie zum Rapid Prototyping überwunden und Einzug in die Serienfertigung von Bauteilen, Werkzeugen und Ersatzteilen gehalten. Diese disruptiv veränderte Perspektive auf die Technologien der Additiven Fertigung führt zu Herausforderungen für Material- und Prozessentwicklung, aber vor allem zu Chancen für völlig neue Lösungen in der Konstruktion, durch z. B. bionische Formgebung, integrierte Effekte und gradierte Materialien.

Dieses Buch gibt im Kontext einen Einblick in die aktuelle Forschung und Entwicklung zum Thema "Konstruktion für die Additive Fertigung 2020" im deutschsprachigen Raum und wendet sich an Experten in Forschung und Wirtschaft. Es verschriftlicht die Vorträge und Diskussionen auf unserem diesjährigen Workshop am Laserzentrum Hannover e.V. mit den Schwerpunkten: Spezifikation von Bauteilen und Prozessen, Methoden zur Abschätzung der Bauteileignung, Innovative Anwendungen der Additiven Fertigung sowie Entwicklung von Konzepten und Entwürfen. Der Workshop wurde unterstützt durch Niedersachsen Additiv und die Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktentwicklung e.V.


Die Herausgeber

Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Lachmayer ist Gründungsdirektor und Leiter des Instituts für Produktentwicklung und Gerätebau der Leibniz Universität Hannover (IPeG). Er ist Senator der Leibniz Universität, Sprecher der Graduiertenschule 'Tailored Light', Mitglied im wissenschaftlichen Direktorium des Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V., Geschäftsführer der Wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft für Produktentwicklung e. V. und seit 2018 Sprecher des EFRE geförderten Forschungsverbundes GROTESK. Seit 2019 leitet Professor Lachmayer die Task-Group Additive Manufacturing des Excellenzclusters PHOENIX-D. Zu seinen bisherigen Publikationen gehören neben Arbeiten zur Entwicklungsmethodik zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen zum Additive Manufacturing.

Katharina Rettschlag ist seit 2018 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Produktentwicklung und Gerätebau (IPeG) der Leibniz Universität Hannover sowie dem Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. und beschäftigt sich in Ihrer Arbeit mit der Prozessentwicklung zur Additiven Fertigung von Glas. Zuvor hat sie an der Fachhochschule Münster das Studium der Physikalischen Technik mit den Schwerpunkten Lasertechnik und Photonik mit dem Master of Science erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kaierle ist geschäftsführender Vorstand am Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. und Dozent an der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Er ist Mitglied im Board of Directors des Laser Institute of America (LIA). Seit dem Jahr 2011 ist er darüber hinaus als Executive Editor-in-Chief des Springer Nature Journals Light: Science & Applications tätig.
