Technische Gebilde entstehen heute nach den Regeln der Konstruktionslehre. Dabei wird das Gebilde in Teilfunktionen zerlegt und fur diese nach technisch-wirtschaftlichen Kriterien, in mehreren Schritten eine LOsung erarbeitet. Zur Umsetzung der Teilfunktionen sind elementare Kenntnisse der wichtigsten Konstruktionselemente unerliiBlich. Dabei ist zu beachten, daB an Bauteile durch den Trend zur Leistungssteigerung immer hohere Anforderungen beziiglich der Haltbarkeit gesteIIt werden. Es ist daher Ziel dieses Buches, die Konstruktionselemente und ihre Berechnung nach anerkannten Berechnungsmethoden vorzustellen. In Band I werden zuerst die Normung und die Gestaltung der Bauteile behandelt. AnschlieBend foIgen die Grundlagen der Bauteilberechnung, insbesondere bei dynamischer Belastung. Es folgt die Behandlung der wichtigsten Verbindungselemente und von mechanischen Fedem. Den AbschluB bildet ein Abschnitt iiber Achsen und Wellen. Der vorliegende Band II behandelt zuerst ausfuhrlich Wiilz- und Gleitlager. AnschlieBend folgt ein Abschnitt iiber Kupplungen, in dem die Auslegung besprochen wird und der die wichtigsten Typen vorstellt. Dann folgen mehrere Abschnitte iiber Getriebe. Hier werden die noch immer wichtigen Stimradgetriebe, Kegelradgetriebe, Schneckengetriebe und Umschlingungsgetriebe behandelt. Den AbschluB bildet ein Abschnitt iiber Dichtungen. Das Buch ist fiir Studenten der Fachrichtungen Maschinen- und Apparatebau sowie der Feinwerktechnik gedacht, kann aber wegen der umfangreichen Arbeitsunterlagen auch als Handbuch fiir den Praktiker Verwendung finden.
