Die sozialen Muster, die sich am Einzelfall zeigen, werden vielmehr hervorgehoben und in einen systematischen Zusammenhang gestellt. Die dabei zu entfaltende Argumentation folgt der wohl vornehmsten Aufgabe soziologischer Theoriebildung, die in der Befremdung vermeintlicher Selbstverständlichkeiten besteht, um das Phänomen in soziologischen Kategorial- und Handlungszusammenhängen begrifflich zu strukturieren . Es muss danach gefragt werden, was die Behauptung, Hochsensibilität sei ein natürlich gewachsenes Phänomen, im Sinne eines angeborenen Persönlichkeitsmerkmals, sozial leistet. Auf Individualebene geht es um die Bedeutung von Hochsensibilität für das Selbstverständnis und die Konsequenzen in der Lebenspraxis der Betroffenen. Den Gütekriterien kultursoziologischer Forschung folgend, soll die Kulturbedeutung von Hochsensibilität als kollektives Sinn- und Deutungsmuster herausgearbeitet werden, da das Phänomen unter spezifischen gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Rahmenbedingungen auftaucht und von sozial bestimmbaren zeitgenössischen Subjekten in typischer Weise als Selbstinterpretation angeeignet wird. Die Kulturbedeutung verweist schlie lich darauf, dass die prinzipielle Kontingenz, gerade bei der Aneignung von Identität, nur einen kleinen Spielraum der Entscheidungsfreiheit und Deutungsvarianz des Subjekts ausmacht. Die vorliegende Studie setzt sich darum mit folgenden Forschungsfragen auseinander: Welcher Typus gesellschaftlicher Akteure greift zum Selbstdeutungsmuster Hochsensibilität und was leistet das Konstrukt für ihn im Rahmen seiner Selbstthematisierung? lnwiefern lassen sich typische Krisener
