The Kreutzer Sonata is a novella written by the famous Russian author Leo Tolstoy. The story is about a man named Pozdnyshev who is on a train journey and begins to tell his fellow passengers about his life. He reveals that he is a wealthy landowner who had a beautiful wife named Marya whom he suspected of having an affair with a musician.
