Prof. Dr. Konrad Wetzker (Jahrgang 1950) studierte Wirtschaftsmathematik, promovierte zu energiewirtschaftlichen Fragen und erhielt den Akademischen Doktor zu strukturpolitischen Untersuchungen. Zur Wende übernahm er die Präsidentschaft über ein großes Berliner Institut der angewandten Wirtschaftsforschung, arbeitete an Fragen der ostdeutschen Wirtschaftsanpassung mit und wechselte 1991 zur Boston Consulting Group. Nach sieben Jahren im Düsseldorfer Büro, baute er als Partner und später Seniorpartner das Büro von BCG in Budapest auf. Aus seiner Begeisterung für die Lehre wurde er 2005 Mitgründer der Corvinus School of Management in Budapest und von 2005 bis 2014 deren Präsident. Diese Einrichtung ist heute eine der anerkanntesten Business Schools in Osteuropa. Seit 2015 beschäftigt sich Prof. Wetzker freischaffend mit Vorlesungen und als Autor. Er ist und war Mitglied von Aufsichtsräten und Vorständen und wohnt in Budapest und Berlin. Prof. Wetzker sagt selbst, dass mit Alter und wachsenden Erfahrungen zu derErkenntnis kam, dass das Irrationale bei wirtschaftlichen, insbesondere strategischen Entscheidungendie entscheidende Rolle spielt.

Dr. Peter Strüven (Jahrgang 1949) absolvierte eine Stammhauslehre bei der Siemens AG, studierte Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit anschließender Promotion an der Technischen Universität Berlin. Danach absolvierte er ein post-doctoral Studium an der Stanford University in California. Er war von 1978 bis 2010 bei der Boston Consulting Group als Senior Partner und Managing Director tätig. Er hatte maßgeblichen Anteil am Aufbau von BCG im deutschsprachigen Raum u. a. als Managing Partner für diese Region in den 90er Jahren, sowie in Asien/Australien als Mitglied des weltweiten Executive Committees, Leiter des Büros in Tokio und später als erster Chairman für Asien/Australien. In seiner Beratungstätigkeit hat Peter Strüven Unternehmen aus nahezu allen Wirtschaftsbereichen betreut. Strategie- und Unternehmensentwicklung, Internationalisierungsstrategien, gesamthafte Organisationsveränderungen global agierender Konzerne sowie Post-Merger-Integration standen im Vordergrund. Seit 2011 ist er als selbstständiger Berater für Wirtschaft und Politik in Europa und Asien tätig, sowie als Mitglied in Beiräten, Stiftungen und gesellschaftspolitischen Vereinigungen.
