Qu'est-ce que le bilinguisme exp�rimental id�al ?
Le bilinguisme au Cameroun signifie la comp�tence qu'a chaque citoyen camerounais de s'exprimer en fran�ais et en anglais; ce bilinguisme h�rit� de la colonisation est un humanisme qui contribue � la compr�hension nationale et internationale, et � la paix.
Le bilinguisme d�velopp� au lyc�e bilingue de Buea au moment o� l'auteur de cet essai en �tait professeur, puis proviseur, �tait un biculturalisme parce que les cours �taient dispens�s dans les classes de 4e et de 3e dans les deux langues officielles et dans toutes les mati�res.
Ce bilinguisme-l� �tait donc id�al, th�orique et exp�rimental, mais le projet n'avait pas �t� �valu� ni g�n�ralis�.
Lorsque la crise anglophone �clate apr�s la c�l�bration du cinquantenaire de la r�unification en 2014 et qu'elle devient violente et dramatique vers les ann�es 2016 du fait des s�cessionnistes, le Pr�sident convoque le grand dialogue national qui aboutit entre autres au statut sp�cial accord� aux deux r�gions anglophones.
La gestion administrative et politique de la crise aurait-elle contribu� � la d�sillusion du bilinguisme id�al ?

Meva Ondo, Henri: - Henri Meva Ondo, professeur, puis proviseur du lycée fédéral bilingue (Man O'war Bay et Buea), est Bachelor of Arts de North Western university (Evanston, USA), titulaire d'un DEA en sciences de l'éducation (Paris V Sorbonne) et d'un DEA en sociologie politique (université de Yaoundé I). Chevalier et Officier de l'ordre national de la valeur, il a occupé divers postes: Conseiller culturel à l'ambassade du Cameroun à Paris, secrétaire général de la commission nationale pour l'UNESCO, Directeur de la culture et Inspecteur général du ministère de la Culture.
